The Nutcracker: Amarillo Dreamin’

This unique production is a reimagining of the beloved holiday classic, set right here in Amarillo, and will feature an exciting blend of ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and tumbling.

Rehearsals & Tuition:

  • Ages 4 & 5: Saturdays 9:45 AM–10:30 AM

    • Monthly tuition: 45-minute class

  • Ages 6+: Saturdays 10:30 AM–12:00 PM

    • Monthly tuition: 1.5-hour class

  • Soloists: Saturdays 10:30 AM–12:30 PM

    • Monthly tuition: 2-hour class

Please note that additional rehearsals may be added in the weekends closer to the show.

 

Costume & Performance Fees:

  • $165 for currently enrolled students

  • $195 for new or non-enrolled students

  • (some students may need to furnish their own jeans, button up shirts, and boots)

Please note that tickets for the show will be required for all spectators (price TBA).

 

Mandatory Rehearsals & Performances:

  • Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, December 7th, 9:00 AM–until finished

  • Showtimes: Sunday, December 8th, 2:00 PM & 6:00 PM (both mandatory)

 

About the Show: The Nutcracker - Amarillo Dreamin' brings a modern twist to the classic holiday tale, set against the backdrop of Amarillo's landmarks and traditions. This production will highlight your child’s talents across a variety of dance genres, including ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and even tumbling! It’s a celebration of local culture and creativity, offering a magical experience for both dancers and the audience.
